Ms Phoebe D Anthony

Ms. Phoebe D. Anthony was born February 12, 1972, in Houston, Texas. She was the beloved daughter born to the union of her devoted parents, carrying a bright spirit and a compassionate heart from the very beginning.

Phoebe spent her formative years growing up in a vibrant, close-knit community where she developed a lifelong love for learning and service. She was a proud graduate of Mt. Sanai Preparatory Academy, Class of 1990, where she formed enduring friendships and excelled both academically and socially. Following her education, Phoebe embarked on a meaningful professional career dedicated to helping others, ultimately serving for many years as a lead Care Coordinator at a local community health center. Her colleagues and patients alike knew her as a beacon of patience, warmth, and unwavering support.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Phoebe’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a faithful and devoted member of the Mt. Sanai Baptist Church, where she joyfully served in the Sanctuary Choir and the Women’s Ministry, always eager to lend her voice and her hands to the Lord’s work.

Phoebe was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She found immense joy in life’s simple pleasures, including tending to her beautiful rose garden, hosting Sunday dinners for her family, traveling to historical sites, and listening to gospel music. Known for her infectious laugh and radiant smile, Phoebe never met a stranger. She had a rare gift for making anyone she crossed paths with feel seen, valued, and loved. Her ultimate peace was found during quiet mornings spent reflecting on her favorite scripture, Psalm 23, and spending precious quality time with her children and grandchildren.

On Wednesday, May 17, 2026, Phoebe peacefully departed this life to transition into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her loving father.
